Reading Expectations
YOUR CHILD SHOULD BE READING AT LEAST 30 MINUTES FOR HOMEWORK EVERY DAY OR 150 MINUTES PER WEEK.
STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO READ FOR 30 MINUTES EACH NIGHT. THEY WILL NOT BRING A READING LOG HOME. TEACHERS WILL BE CONFERENCING WITH STUDENTS EACH WEEK ABOUT THEIR READING. THERE WILL BE MANY RESPONSES AND EXPECTATIONS COMING FROM THEIR BOOK OF CHOICE, IT WILL BE OBVIOUS IF YOUR CHILD IS READING EACH NIGHT.
Homework will be assigned daily and is directly correlated to our lessons in the classroom.

Words Their Way Homework
Words Their Way word lists will be given out Wednesday. Students will have one whole week to complete their choice of activities. Students will then be tested on their word list on the following Wednesday.
